Community Treatment and Care (CTAC)

Service hours: Monday to Friday: 08.30am to 16.30pm

Community Treatment and Care (CTAC) deliver a range of services including wound care, leg ulcer management and suture/staple removal.

The service is available to people living in East Dunbartonshire who require access to clinical nursing care.  All referrals will be offered an appointment within a time scale relevant to clinical need

Community Midwives

The Glasgow antenatal service has been reorganised and midwives no longer see patients at GP practices. Bearsden/Milngavie pregnant women are seen at Milngavie Clinic. The phone number is 0141 232 9456.

Health Visitors

Stephanie Scott RSCN, RGN, SCPHN

Stephanie provides health information and support mainly to families with babies and young children. This includes post-natal visits, infant feeding, child growth and developmental screening clinics, immunisation, parenting and behaviour management. Stephanie also sees women with post-natal problems. Her contact number is 0141 232 4814. Drop-in baby clinics at Bearsden Burgh Hall on Wednesdays 10:00 – 11:45.
